TMJ Treatment
Problems with the temporomandicular (TMJ) joint can cause problems opening and closing the jaw and can lead to pain with chewing, headaches, popping/locking, and even dizziness. Several of our physical therapists have specific training in treating this condition. Treatment may include addressing postural impairments, soft-tissue imbalance contributing to alterred joint mechanics, and evaluating the cervical spine as this area may also be problematic.
